Taos Opera Institute

 

TOI has been designed as a highly intensive program for the serious singer.
Come to Taos a singer----leave an Artist!
A vocal and dramatic experience like no other! TOI has been established as a four- week intensive program designed to bridge the gap between academia and apprenticeship for the emerging young artist. Our philosophy will focus on integrating and improving your technique, your physical well being and your artistry.

Throughout the month of June each year the students of the Taos Opera Institute will perform free to the public as part of their training. For dates of performances check the Taos Opera Institute Calendar.

Taos School of Music

 

Eight week Summer Chamber Music study and performance program for professionally oriented string and piano students offering daily coaching, recitals, concerts and seminars in a high mountain setting at the Hotel St. Bernard.

Enchanted Circle Festival

Enchanted Circle Festival - The High Mountain Get Down

Celebrating the beauty of surrounding majestic mountains and our region’s
rich cultural heritage, this summer’s second Enchanted Circle Festival
weekend will combine onsite camping with an outdoor theater of music, art,
culture, healing arts, environmental awareness and social movement for
music fans, art lovers and outdoor enthusiasts of all ages. Healing arts fair
will include energy work, body work, yoga & Pilates classes, psychic readings,
tarot readings, crystal healings and more.

OKTOBERFEST Saturday September 17th

This year the biggest and best ever Oktoberfest in Taos Ski Valley. FREE and fun for all ages.
Authentic Schuplatter band and dancers, german beer and food, activities for kids, Brat eating contest, Yodelling contest, Alkhorn blowing contests and so much more. The chairlift will be running all day and Village stores offer blowout prices on ski gear and sporting apparel.

Festival Times: 11am to 7pm
